Royal Plans Next Level Update to Navigator of the Seas

Royal Caribbean is continuing with its $1 billion Royal Amplified fleet modernization program. The next ship to get the "amped up" treatment is Navigator of the Seas.The ship will undergo a $115 Million makeover and debut in Miami on February 14, 2019 with a host of new features and activities. The ship originally launched in 2002, has already received significant upgrades in 2014 that saw the addition of new Panoramic and Virtual Balcony Staterooms, FlowRider surf simulator and new dining in Sabor Mexican, Izumi Japanese and Giovanni's Table. The Perfect Storm brings a new wave of excitement with the boldest duo of waterslides yet. Hearts will pound when vacationers take on The Blaster , the cruise line’s first-ever aqua coaster and the longest waterslide at sea. Adventure seekers will hop on a two-person raft that will propel them through more than 800 feet of hills, drops and straightaways, which includes extending over the side of the ship for a rush of ocean air. On its counterpart, Riptide , guests will plunge down the industry’s only headfirst mat racer and reach an exhilarating finish through a translucent tube with endless ocean views.
