Carnival Magic Returns to Miami With Ship-Wide Upgrades

Carnival Magic is back in service from Miami with a broad round of guest-facing upgrades after a 35-day dry dock in The Bahamas, giving Carnival Cruise Line another refreshed ship positioned for Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries, including calls tied to Celebration Key.

According to the Carnival Cruise Line Newsroom, the work touched multiple high-traffic areas of the ship rather than a single marquee venue. Carnival said the ship returned with refreshed venues and upgraded amenities throughout the vessel, aimed at dining flow, onboard entertainment, family activity, wellness, shopping, and outdoor recreation.

The confirmed updates include:

• An updated casino and arcade, adding more entertainment options for different age groups.
• A redesigned Lido restaurant layout, intended to improve flow and elevate the dining experience.
• Revitalized WaterWorks aqua park and pool decks.
• A new mini golf course for family-friendly outdoor play.
• A renovated Cloud 9 Spa and fitness center with all new equipment.
• Refreshed retail areas, including gift shops and the Effy Jewelry boutique.
